Marti Scheer

High School Dean of Students

With more than 30 years of experience teaching high school mathematics, I remain passionate about supporting students and educators. I graduated summa cum laude from Dominican University with a degree in Mathematics and earned my teaching credential there as well.

I began my career at NBCA before spending 19 years at Novato High School, where I served as Math Department Chair for 12 years and contributed to curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and the WASC accreditation process.

After retiring, I mentored new middle and high school math teachers in NUSD and served as a long-term substitute at Terra Linda and San Marin High Schools.

In November 2024, I returned to MCA as a long-term substitute teacher. This year, I am pleased to teach mathematics and serve as the High School Dean of Students.
