DJ Baluyot

High School Teacher

DJ Baluyot is excited to join the high school faculty at MCA, where he will be teaching Finance, Bible, Dance, and Science. This is his first year at MCA, but he brings over eight years of teaching experience and a heart for investing in the next generation.

DJ earned his bachelor’s degree at San José State University, where he double majored in Recreational Therapy and Musical Theatre Arts with a minor in Dance. He went on to complete his master’s degree in Dance at California State University, Long Beach. In addition to his teaching background, DJ has professional experience in finance and serves as a Retirement Strategist licensed in 40 states, helping others build a strong foundation for their future.

With a passion for both education and ministry, DJ sees teaching as more than academics—it’s about equipping students to grow in wisdom, faith, and purpose. He believes God has placed him at MCA “for such a time as this” and looks forward to inspiring students both in and out of the classroom.
