High School –

At NBCA, our athletics program offers student athletes an opportunity to develop their God-given talents and abilities through competitive play.  Our focus is on fostering positive character traits as an individual and as a team, while providing an opportunity for physical, emotional, and social growth.  NBCA has a long history of good sportsmanship, and this is a defining trait of our program. NBCA athletes, coaches, and fans strive to treat opponents, officials, and visiting spectators with respect and fair play at all times.

North Bay Christian Academy is a member of CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) and BACAL (Bay Area Christian Athletics League).

Sports offered through NBCA:

  • Cross Country:

    • In the Fall, we offer students the opportunity to participate in Cross Country.  Our team took first place in BACAL in 2015, and continues to perform competitively.  Throughout the season, runners have the opportunity to run at beautiful local courses in locations like Redwood Park, Quicksilver Park, and Indian Valley College.

    • (Season Length:  August – November)

  • Volleyball:

    • Our Boys and Girls Volleyball teams have been steadily progressing over the last few years.  In the 2017 season, our Boys earned a 2nd place finish in BACAL, while also unanimously receiving the league’s Sportsmanship award.

    • (Girls Season Length:  August – October)

  • Basketball:

    • Our basketball program has enjoyed a long history of success, and our Boys team has been the recipient of the BACAL Sportsmanship award for the past three consecutive seasons.  Our student athletes learn values like teamwork, patience, and perseverance while being trained on the fundamentals of the game.

    • (Season Length:  November- February)

  • Track & Field:

    • The Track & Field season begins at the beginning of March and runs into mid-May.  We offer training in events such as shot put, discus, long jump, triple jump, sprints, and long distance.
